Our Standard Curtain Header Options
Once you have chosen a colour scheme for the look, and a fabric for the feel, it's time to choose a header style. Below are a few of our standard options to choose from, but if you've seen something else you like, all you have to do is let us know.
WAVE CURTAINS
Aesthetic Effect
Wave curtains give a contemporary and stylish look that fits particularly well into modern interiors. The header of the material is designed to create undulating forms across the width of the curtain, which is highly effective when used to cover larger spans.
Hanging Requirements
To achieve the distinctive rippled look a specialist wave curtain track is used, with the curtain suspended directly below the fixing.
PINCH PLEAT CURTAINS
Aesthetic Effect
Pinch pleat curtains deliver a highly decorative look suitable for all types of interiors. A flat header is broken up by clusters of pleats, usually numbering two or three dependant on how formal / decorative the desired look is.
Hanging Requirements
As hooks are threaded through the header opposite the pleats, these curtains can be hung on a track or a pole, but we’d always recommend a pole for maximum effect.
PENCIL PLEAT CURTAINS
Aesthetic Effect
Pencil Pleat is probably the most traditional of all the curtain styles we offer as standard. The header is designed to draw-in to create tight undulations that resemble a row of pencils lining up side-by-side to create a casual, informal look.
Hanging Requirements
This classic look can be achieved using either a track or a pole.
EYELET CURTAINS
Aesthetic Effect
Eyelet curtains are used in conjunction with a pole to produce a modern and minimalist aesthetic similar to Wave curtains - the main difference being that the pole passes through the curtain itself, rather than having rings that the curtain is the fastened to.
Hanging Requirements
As this style of curtain requires its support to be integral, a pole is always required.
GOBLET PLEAT CURTAINS
Aesthetic Effect
As the name suggests, Goblet pleat curtains have a heading that is tailored to create goblet or wine glass forms at the top of the material. This provides a very traditional and formal look perfect for more opulent surroundings.
Hanging Requirements
This finishing method requires a pole to hang from - further enhancing the high-quality feel.
VOILES
Aesthetic Effect
Voiles create a light bright ambiance as well as privacy. Our voiles are available in all of the header styles listed above.

How voiles are hung will depend on the header chosen.
